What a busy month costs
Arithmetic on the published prices, not a quote. Say your calls add up to 300 minutes in a busy month:
- OnCrew Starter: $49 covers 150 min; 150 extra × $0.49 = $73.50, total $122.50. Pro would be $149 for 200 min plus 100 × $0.99 = $248.00, so on these numbers Starter stays cheaper.
- Rosie: 300 min is over Professional's 250, and the pricing page doesn't list an overage rate; Scale is $149/mo for 1,000 min.
- Jobber: $29/mo on top of your Jobber plan; if you aren't on Jobber yet, Core month to month plus the add-on is $49 + $29 = $78/mo, before Jobber's usage limits.
Vendors count minutes and usage their own way. Check each vendor's definition against your own call log.
Which one should you pick?
- Pick Jobber's Receptionist if you already schedule, quote and invoice in Jobber, most calls are "book a visit" or "take a message", and you don't plan to switch software. It's the cheapest add-on and books straight into your Jobber calendar. Take the 5-point fit check.
- Pick OnCrew if you want a receptionist built for trades that moves with you if you change software, you run Housecall Pro on MAX, or your volume is modest (150 min on Starter). OnCrew vs Goodcall.
- Pick Rosie if you want the most included minutes at $49 (250), callers who speak Spanish, or warm/live transfers to your crew (Scale, $149). Rosie vs OnCrew in detail.
FAQ
Is Jobber's AI receptionist better than OnCrew or Rosie?
It depends on your software. Jobber's Receptionist ($29/mo add-on, included in Plus; checked Nov 2, 2026) only works inside Jobber and books with your Jobber settings. OnCrew ($49/mo for 150 minutes) and Rosie ($49/mo for 250 minutes) are standalone, so they keep working if you change software.
Does OnCrew or Rosie integrate with Jobber?
OnCrew connects to Jobber through webhooks, not a native integration (per our vendor record, checked Nov 2, 2026). We have not verified a Jobber integration for Rosie; Rosie's pricing page lists Zapier on all plans (checked Nov 4, 2026).
Which is cheapest: Jobber Receptionist, OnCrew or Rosie?
If you already pay for Jobber, its $29/mo add-on is the lowest entry price. If you don't use Jobber, OnCrew Starter and Rosie Professional are both $49/mo; Rosie includes 250 minutes and OnCrew 150, with OnCrew charging $0.49 per extra minute on Starter.
Which has a free trial?
All three: Jobber gives 14 days of its Grow plan with no credit card, OnCrew has a 14-day trial, and Rosie has a 7-day trial (checked Nov 2-4, 2026). Terms can change; confirm on each site.
Can these AI receptionists transfer emergency calls?
Jobber's Receptionist can transfer the call or text you when callers use keywords you choose, such as "burst pipe" or "no heat". Rosie offers warm and live transfers on Scale ($149/mo) and up. OnCrew sends alert texts. Test your emergency rule during the trial.
